Enjoy the feedback and photographs from the chapters from "International Female Ride Day", an Open and Free event held on 6 May for all women on motorcycles of all brands hosted locally by Lady Bikers SA

"My nerves were shot as my first official ride as Ladies Of Harley Officer was upon me but, I was hopeful that we would pull this off." says Annamie Le Grange – L.O.H. Officer of the Pretoria chapter.

"The 6th of May 2017 will bring back awesome memories for years to come. Ladies from all walks of life and with all makes of bikes gathered at the Harley- Davidson® Pretoria Dealership leaving for a round trip stopping over at the Harley- Davidson® Clearwater and Harley-Davidson® Johannesburg Dealerships then back to Pretoria for more late afternoon festivities. The well planned trip included lots of shopping and browsing at the various Dealerships.

"We set off from the Pretoria dealership where Dealer Principal Orf Oosthuizen and his team were already hard at work to put up gazebos to provide shading and comfort. A festive atmosphere greeted all lady riders dressed to the T in pink, extraordinaire! Everything looked amazing and we knew all our visitors would feel welcome and at home.

Our Marshals Core under the capable hands of Head Road Captain Rudi were ready to brief and get the big show on the road with more than 70 bikes ready to roll. We drove safely to Clearwater where we were met with bubbly and friendly faces.

From H-D Clearwater we met up with the H.O.G.® Johannesburg and Zambezi Chapter ladies where lunch was served with the organization of Marcell with a feminine touch to the tables, a heartfelt thanks from us all. 207 Motorcycles left Harley-Davidson® Johannesburg to final destination Harley-Davidson® Pretoria. Finishing the round trip back to H-D Pretoria Dealership had a pack arrival of close to 207 motorcycles!!!! What an amazing site for ears and eyes.

After a week full of stress and only a hiccup here and there, we all joined hands and hearts to make this a wonderful day. Thank you to

The route planned for Cape Town Chapter took the ladies via Wynberg, Constantia, Tokai, Kalk Bay and a lunch stop at the Striped Horse Muizenberg where met by Valley Chapter. Motorcycles were decorated with pink and purple balloons to emphasize the Female Ride Day. Having all the ladies together on their motorcycles was exciting, even more so for all to ride the beautiful Cape together celebrating the love of riding.
